Paranormal Evening - Friday 18 May 2012
On Friday the 18 May as part of National Museus at Night Weekend, Wheal Martyn will be hosting a paranormal evening for all those daring enough to engage in and learn more about the fascinating world of the spirit. This will be our third paranormal event and is lead by professional paranormalist team, Clare Lewis and Laurence Toye who have been operating for over three years in venues such as Woodchester mansion, the Ancient Ram Inn, Jamaica Inn and Bodmin Jail. It will take the form of a mini ghost hunt around the atmospheric Wheal Martyn grounds and through the historic Victorian clay work buildings including the spooky flat rod tunnel, ancient crib hut and former linhay all steeped in industrial history and once worked by a team of traditional Cornish clay workers. The experienced hosts will combine spiritual work with advanced metaphysical techniques to help those participating hopefully interact with and understand the amazing world of the paranormal. The evening will commence at 9.30pm at which point homemade stew will be served and everyone will have a chance to get to know each other before embarking on an evening of self enlightenment which will finish at around 3.00am. There will be hot drinks flowing throughout the night to keep you warm and awake! During the evening there will be a series of workshops based around psychic development. One of which will be utilising all the energies available from the group as well as the amazing location itself . Following on from our succesful Halloween event in October this will be a perfect opportunity for individuals to connect with and honour their ancestors. Wheal Martyn is no ordinary ghost hunt this will be a personal voyage of discovery into the realms of spirit for all those involved. The cost to take part is £35.00 per person and includes food on arrival and drinks throughout the night. Admittance is strictly by ticket only. Proceeds from the event will help to fund the valuable work of the Museum charity.
